Welcome to Innov8! It’s always nice to know who you’re working with, so we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and explain why we believe we’re the best provider of Sage solutions and IT infrastructure for businesses, across the UK & Ireland.


At Innov8 our mission is to enable organisations to get further, faster. Helping them fully embrace technology for business gain. We pride ourselves on delivering trust and a positive experience, with a proven track record of over 25 years.

Having helped hundreds of customers to deploy software, hardware infrastructure and cloud solutions, our extensive experience means that when dealing with us, you can rest assured you’re in good hands.

We are a Sage Business Partner & Tech Partner (Developer) working with solutions such as Sage 200, Sage Intacct and Sage CRM – there’s not much we haven’t seen before!

In addition to working with Sage themselves, we also have well-established relationships within the Sage marketplace with solution providers such as Draycir, Sicon, Eureka, Panintelligence, Phocas, Codeless, ElitePOS, Webexpenses and many more. Check out our Partner Solutions.

We also have specialist experience reflected by our in-house developed ‘innRange’ software, built for businesses with needs beyond the ordinary.

  • 1997

    The Beginning

    On the 23rd of January 1997, the founding directors registered Innov8 Technology Ltd with Companies House and our business was born.

    Initially, we produced niche vertical market applications to provide touchscreen technology for EPOS solutions in the hospitality industry. Businesses using Innov8 solutions at the time included Pret A Manger & Frankie and Benny’s.

  • 2000

    Sprouting with Sage

    After some initial success providing niche solutions into a few specific vertical markets, we aligned ourselves to mainstream software provider Sage to cater for a wider and growing customer base.

    On becoming an accredited Sage Business Partner, we could now provide Sage L50 and Sage L100 solutions and the business began to see significant growth.

  • 2002

    Early Acquisitions

    Having established ourselves as a Sage Business Partner, the directors sought to acquire similar businesses to accelerate the growth of the business.

    Innov8 successfully acquired L100 and hardware provider Bridge Computers in 2001 and L100 provider Phoenix Business Solutions in 2002.

    In 2002 we introduced infrastructure services, following a growing need from customers. In 2002 Innov8 partnered with Microsoft, HP and desktop virtualisation specialists Citrix.

    New Surroundings

    Having spent 6 years at our office at Depleach Hall, in 2003 Innov8’s continued growth demanded a change of premises.

    5 Riverview on The Embankment Business Park was chosen and is still one of our homes today.

  • 2004

    Business IT

    In 2004 we were one of the first adopters of new technology: server virtualisation with VMware.

    The idea of VMware technology at the time was extremely innovative and has since become an industry standard, being at the forefront of new technology is something we pride ourselves on.

  • 2005

    R&D

    In 2005 Innov8 recruited a specialist mobile application team.

    The team based in Cornwall already had vast experience in developing mobility software and circumstances allowed us to enlist the experience of our now established research and development team.

  • 2006-2009

    Expand & Grow

    Between 2006 and 2009, we grew again via increased new business and further acquisitions to support the presence of our innRange products. Alongside becoming a Sage Tech Partner.

    Innov8 acquired Reflex Computers (L100), Tobar Software in Ireland (L100 & Trakker), ASAP (L50), Alpha Business Solutions (L50) and OMS (Mobility/Hand-held technology).

    Sage at Scale

    With our desire to continue supporting customers, in the late summer of 2013 we announced a further partnership with Sage for larger and growing business solutions, which today is represented by our Sage Intacct offering (since 2021).

    Sage Hosting

    Given our commitment to embracing new technology, in 2017 we began to privately host Sage solutions for customers, at the time a fresh approach for business management software. Today, customers can choose from a variety of deployment options, from cloud-native through to on-premise and all options in between.

    Acquisition of Viking Management Systems

    Innov8 undertook our most expansive growth to date, effectively doubling in size whilst simultaneously establishing a geographical presence on both sides of the Pennines.

  • 2018 - 2020

    Award winning

    In 2018 – Innov8 became a Platinum Sage Development Partner (now known as Sage Tech Partner). And over the next 2 years won a number of awards for the vertical products: Innware & Innvan that undertook product refreshes.

    In 2020, we were recognised by Sage as their Customer Success Partner of the Year and since, we have been recognised by a number of other Partners and within the industry too.

    True Cloud

    As an early adopter of new technology, we were one of the first Sage Business Partners to on-board with Sage Intacct when the solution was introduced to the UK market. We have since gone on to specialise within a number of industries.

    Further Expansion with Wharncliffe & Loria

    As an organisation with ambition, in 2022 we sought to acquire a number of organisations to underpin business growth and to support customers better by adding expertise to our team. Notably Wharncliffe who have over 40 years of business IT expertise (including with Sage) and also in 2022, Loria as a CRM specialist.

    Century and Acorn

    Further growth of the Innov8 business sees the acquisition of Century Software & Acorn BMS. Strengthening the collective provision of software solutions to businesses in the UK & Ireland and ensuring we continue to lead in innovation and customer satisfaction.
