A Year of Growth, Grit, and Getting Further, Faster…Together

As we wrap up 2025 and blink in disbelief at how quickly it all flew past, it’s time to rewind the tape on a year that came at us like a technicolour whirlwind. Storm-delayed flights, international awards, record-breaking growth, new faces, new acquisitions and more muddy challenges than any HR department should reasonably allow – it’s been a standout year in every direction. 

Kicking Off in Belfast: Branching Out with Acorn 

We opened 2025 with our “Branching Out” event in Belfast with the Acorn team. Even a temperamental storm trying its best to keep our Manchester-bound colleagues firmly on Irish soil couldn’t derail the energy. The event was a celebration of collaboration, shared ambition, and a partnership that keeps getting stronger. 

Flying High in February: A Tremendous Finish to 2024 

We soared into the new year after finishing 2024 on a huge high, winning Top EMEA Intacct VAR YoY Growth from Sage. Carl and Gemma headed to Sage Platinum Elite in Tromsø, Norway, where they exchanged the Manchester drizzle for Arctic air and well-deserved recognition. 

Innov8 Insights LIVE 2025: Under the Wings of Concorde 

This year’s Innov8 Insights LIVE touched down at The Concorde Conference Centre at Manchester Airport, and it was our most ambitious event yet. Customers, partners, colleagues – the full Innov8 community – came together beneath one of aviation’s great icons. The day buzzed with conversation, discovery, and a shared sense of momentum. 

Barcelona Bound: Sage Future for Partners 

In November, we journeyed to Barcelona for Sage Future for Partners – a forward-looking fusion of product direction, industry insight, community connection, and mild tapas-induced euphoria. A perfect reset before gearing up for the final sprint of the year. 

People, Growth, and the Power of Staying Power 

Amid all the travel, milestones, and celebrations, the beating heart of Innov8 remained exactly where it always is: with our people. 

This year, the average length of service across Innov8 reached 9.7 years. Nearly a decade. In an age of rapid change, that kind of commitment isn’t just a statistic – it’s identity. It’s stability, culture, and a testament to the environment we’ve created together. 

And our team grew in both size and strength.
By December 2025, Innov8 reached 125 colleagues, up from 86 the year before. With five leavers across the year, that means 44 new Innov8’ers joined us – across acquisitions, new roles, and expanding teams. 

On the financial front, the Group’s turnover now sits at around £20 million, up from roughly £15 million in 2024. A confident rise, fuelled by collective effort, bold decision-making, and the unstoppable momentum of the Innov8 Group. 

Partnerships & Sponsorships: Connecting Communities 

We continued to invest in the communities we care about: 

  • Becoming official partners of England Lacrosse, and headline sponsors of the U20 Men’s Programme at the World Championships in Korea
  • Continuing our support for the Deeside Dragons Ice Hockey Club
  • Supporting Rossendale FC U18 football team
  • Stepping into our second year as House Sponsor at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys 
  • And becoming a founding partner of the Hamblin Education Trust Partner Programme, strengthening ties between local schools, parents, alumni, and businesses 

Mud, Fire, Water, Ice: Total Warrior Returns 

For the second year running, Innov8’ers teamed up with the Sage Foundation to tackle the 12k Total Warrior Challenge in June. Mud pits swallowed shoes, human barbeques were leapt over, and icy water removed the will to speak – but spirits stayed sky-high. Champions, every one of them. 

A Landmark Year of Acquisitions 

If 2025 had a theme, “expansion” might be it. This year, five organisations officially joined the Innov8 Group: 

  • 1st March: ReZolve 
  • 22nd August: Chess ICT’s Sage customer base 
  • 29th August: ACIT Solutions Limited 
  • 11th November: Blue Planet Networking Ltd (BPNL) 
  • 26th November: Sherwood Systems Ltd 

Each one strengthens our portfolio, our expertise, and our footprint into Essex, Coalville and further strengthening our presence in Belfast. We didn’t just grow – we evolved. 

As we close the chapter on an extraordinary 2025, we look ahead to 2026 with the same spirit that’s carried us this far: bold ambition, steady optimism, and a commitment to helping our customers shape the futures they deserve. The groundwork we’ve laid this year sets the stage for something even brighter – more innovation, more collaboration, and more opportunities to grow together.
