Review: Innov8 Insights LIVE 2024
This year’s Innov8 Insights LIVE brought our vibrant community together once again, setting a new standard for connection, inspiration, and growth. Hosted at The Arches in Halifax, a venue renowned for its mix of elegance and heritage, the event delivered an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Returning to this beautiful location felt like reuniting with an old friend, and we were thrilled to see attendees enjoy the enhanced setup we introduced for 2024.
With thoughtful upgrades to the room arrangement, each table now featured silent seminar headphones and individual monitors – new additions that transformed the learning experience for everyone. These innovations enabled attendees to tune into the sessions they wanted with undivided focus, elevating both engagement and takeaway value. Many noted that these small adjustments added a fresh dimension to the event, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in each presentation.
The agenda for the day was meticulously crafted, blending industry insights, partner expertise, and a touch of adventure. We kicked off with a keynote from Paul O’Riordan from Sage, who shared a strategic overview of the industry’s direction and the role Sage is playing in shaping the future. Paul’s talk set an inspiring tone, giving the audience much to think about as they moved into the next sessions.
Our Partners took centre stage throughout the day, each bringing unique expertise and perspectives that resonated deeply with attendees. Our partners, TD Synnex, Phocas, Draycir, Reality Finance, Quadient, and Yooz each held seminars that tackled the latest advancements and solutions driving our industry. Whether discussing AI, data insights, financing solutions, automation, or customer engagement, these sessions offered attendees tangible strategies and forward-thinking approaches to elevate their business success.
A particular highlight of the day was Frank Rothwell’s session—a departure from the industry-focused presentations but no less relevant or inspirational. Frank, who famously rowed across the Atlantic not once but twice in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK, shared his incredible journey, filled with tales of resilience, determination, and mental fortitude. His story was a powerful reminder of what’s possible with passion and persistence, leaving many attendees inspired to tackle their own goals, no matter how daunting they might seem.
Throughout the event, conversations and connections blossomed, with attendees engaging in lively discussions between sessions and during breaks. The day truly underscored the power of community, as old friendships were rekindled, and new connections were forged – all united by a shared vision for innovation and growth.
To close out this remarkable day, we hosted a raffle with amazing prizes donated by our generous partners. From luxurious hampers and tech gadgets to exclusive experiences, these prizes brought excitement and smiles, and attendees left with not only valuable insights but tangible rewards. The raffle was the perfect high note to end the day, capping off a successful and memorable Innov8 Insights LIVE for 2024.
Looking back, it’s clear that this year’s event achieved more than we could have hoped for. Innov8 Insights LIVE has once again proven itself as an invaluable platform for fostering industry knowledge, creating meaningful connections, and inspiring everyone involved. Here’s what some of our wonderful attendees told us –
‘Very well organised event, excellent facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. Very good atmosphere due to how well planned the event was and a great advert for how well Innov8 looks after its customers and partners. Thank you. ‘– Michael Davies, Reality Finance (Innov8 Partner).
‘The silent sessions were amazing! Never seen anything like this before would have been good to have a Zone 4 – the silent disco zone happy to lead that in the future if needed. I think you did a brilliant job in the promotion of all Partnerships’ – Zoë Young, Draycir (Innov8 Partner).
Customer, Melony Cherry from Amber Taverns – ‘We liked the interaction with the silent seminars, and Frank Rothwell!’
Customer, Mike Brumfitt from Falcon Sportswear – ‘It was our first time attending. Very informative. Good to have time outside of the business to think about systems and strategy.’
Customer, James Edmondson from Beaucare Medical – ‘I liked that the day was commercially useful with a relaxed approach.’
Customer, Chris Thomson from Envriovent Ltd – ‘range of partners and also “silent seminars” which allowed for tailoring the day to meet specific interests/needs.’
The overall consensus was undoubtedly positive, and as we look toward the future, we’re excited to continue building on this momentum – we’re already counting down to next year’s event!
